We live in a complex world that often asks us to be smaller than we truly are—pressuring us to hide our grief, perform resilience, or box up the most vibrant and vulnerable parts of ourselves. Over time, this can lead to deep dis-ease in our minds, bodies, and hearts. Shame takes root. We begin to feel isolated from our inner truth and the people around us. Whether you are navigating trauma or secondary trauma, recovering from spiritual abuse, or moving through a major transition such as divorce, retirement, or identity exploration, healing becomes possible when we lovingly welcome every part of who we are.
So many of the painful thoughts we carry—about our worth, our belonging, or our ability to rest and feel joy—aren’t really ours. They’ve been inherited or conditioned by systems that benefit when we doubt ourselves or disconnect from our truth. Therapy with me includes space to question and unlearn those internalized beliefs. This process, often called decolonizing the mind, is about noticing the narratives we’ve absorbed from dominant culture—especially those rooted in perfectionism, shame, hierarchy, and control—and choosing something more life-giving. If you’re not sure this kind of healing is possible for you, I want you to know: I’ve been there, and I will hold that vision for you until you’re ready to carry it yourself.
I bring over 20 years of experience offering trauma-informed therapy with deep reverence for each person's unique path. I collaborate with clients to find the right therapeutic blend for their needs, drawing from:
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Somatic and body-based practices
Eco-therapy & nature-based healing
EMDR, including Flash EMDR for gentle trauma resolution
Mindfulness, yoga, and energy healing (Reiki Master since 2012)
SoulCollage™, an expressive art practice for self-discovery
I’ve worked in community mental health, led groups, supervised new therapists, and walked alongside fellow healers carrying the invisible wounds of secondary trauma.
I specialize in working with individuals who feel fractured by the systems or beliefs that once shaped them—those healing from trauma or religious harm, helping professionals carrying burnout or secondary trauma, and people in the midst of powerful life transitions. Many of the people who resonate with my work are seeking:
A whole-person, wellness-based approach to therapy
A deeper connection with nature, creativity, and embodied mindfulness
Support in reclaiming or reimagining spiritual practices that nourish rather than harm
A safe, affirming space to explore identity, meaning, and belonging
An opportunity to gently question internalized beliefs and reconnect with their own values and inner wisdom
If this sounds like you, I’d love to walk alongside you as you reclaim what has always been yours—your voice, your truth, and your wholeness.
